Who We Are

About Us

President's Message

Today's world yearns not only for technological advancement, but for emotional connection and cultural understanding. Our association strives to cultivate a global foundation where young people—at the very heart of that connection—can transcend the barriers of national borders, respect one another's cultures, and grow together.

I firmly believe that the friendships and bonds shared among the youth of the world are the most powerful key to shaping a peaceful future. Our association goes beyond simply facilitating exchanges between nations. Through the medium of K-Culture—encompassing K-POP, the arts, sports, and cuisine—we aim to provide a platform where the next generation across the globe can communicate in one shared language.

In particular, building upon our deep educational ties with China, we are committed to embracing the 3rd and 4th generation Korean diaspora and the descendants of independence activists across the CIS region and beyond as valued members of our community. Just as the great scholar Chusa Kim Jeong-hui transcended borders through the art of brush and ink to share the essence of scholarship and art, we too shall carry forward the noble spirit of resistance and the artistic heritage of our forebears, instilling in today's youth a sound sense of history and a strong foundation in the humanities.

As a nonprofit organization, the Korea Youth Exchange Association is dedicated to putting into practice three core values: Empathy, Coexistence, and Growth. We are committed to ensuring that the Republic of Korea emerges as a global hub for international exchange. We sincerely ask for your generous support as we embark on this journey toward a peaceful future—one where youth dare to dream and the world answers their call.

Thank you.President YU SUNWON, Korea Youth Exchange Association
